Photographer

A first-generation Mexican artist born and raised in Inglewood, California. A community rich in culture and history, but also one deeply affected by issues like gentrification, displacement, and economic inequality. Growing up in this environment has shaped my perspective and continues to inspire my creative work.

My art is rooted in the desire to explore personal and collective identity while shedding light on the social issues that impact me and the communities I care about. Through my lens, I seek to tell stories that often go unheard stories of resilience, struggle, and transformation.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Photography and Experimental Art, with the goal of earning my MFA and eventually becoming a photography professor. I strive to create spaces in academia and beyond that empower others, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds to use art as a tool for self-expression and social change.
